So, here's the first thing, we have been taught all of our life that if you use a double negative makes a positive. But, when someone says "He ain't got none", we do not think "oh, he has something". This would be turning a double negative into a positive. We think "oh, he doesn't have anything". So, first of all, when we use a double negative, it never turns into a positive. Second of all, a mathematician created this little rule. Why are we following a mathematician on English rules??????
